We must be careful what we say is NOT God. Be sure we pray as we study the Word to be sure we are not saying something is the devil. I do not agree with it all, but I try to guard my words before I speak...James talks about beung religious but unable to bridle your tongue. Jesus did strange things and the "religious" came against HIm. Let's make sure we are not being as they were BEFORE we speak!

Sorry, I should have said 2 Peter 2:1-3. Ken Copeland, Bennie Hinn, and others like them live in mansions, drive exotic cars, and have private planes all at the expense of those they whose emotions they prey upon.

This is nothing but grandstanding to get into peoples pocketbooks. Read I Peter 2:1-3. Amazing how the Word of God reveals things thousands of years before they occur.

And for the people who say they have seen miracles among this stuff, it's still good to have discernment. Remember when Jesus says depart from me I never knew yo to people, these are people who do the very miraculous things many people proclaim today. Doesn't mean they were of God. The only way to tell if something is from God is to test it by the Word....this stuff doesn't lineup.

Good point, when true revival happens the first thing is usually repentance, and salavations. If you read about Charles Stanley, those were the first things to happen. Then whole towns and cities got saved, it happened here in Massachuseets in North Hampton, the whole town got saved. Now it is prodominatly gay, says one thing about the enemy. Satan is ready to "kill, steal, and destroy." john 10:10

Agreed!!! Grievous is right, It almost seems like this demonic "spirit" has made it to the U.S churches! Sad!!! You have seen this "spirit" move out of a lot of churches though!! But discerment is what is need!! Keeping praying for discernment brother!

John 4:23 23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers John 4:24 24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." enough said. As long as God is truly the source of your worship you cannot go wrong.

All the revelation the body of Christ needs is in the Bible. Proverbs 30:5,6 say Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. DO NOT ADD TO HIS WORDS or He will reprove you, and you will be found a liar. What these people are doing is bufoonery at it's best and it's so sad that there are those who truly desire God who are falling for this mess. READ YOUR BIBLE PLEASE PEOPLE!!!

True joy is given from God not by man. Weather it be hypnotic or otherwise is irrelevant. If it is not from God it is not from God. Simple as that. So if the preacher is proclaiming to have given them special power then that is from satin. And should not be welcomed in the church.
