Dick Dale: Truly one in a million. Nobody (that I know about) has ever come close to duplicating his sound. I know SRV played with him, as have others. Hey, if you know of players who can come close to this, please tell me.

it's the same fender duel showman jbl speakers and reverb leo fender made for him around 50 years ago. large concert shows started because of dick he wanted a bigger fatter sound at his shows to play to the audience and leo kept making and improving speakers and amps and dick kept blowing them up until they finally got speakers and amps with the power and sound dick wanted that is how the duel showman amp and jbl speakers got created

I think it might be one of the old Fender tube reverb boxes - I read somewhere that Dick still uses a lot of his original gear.
